London, a brief synopsis

We must've walked about a million kilometres through London in the six days we were there. There was so much to see and do, and just not enough time. It was also boiling hot, and we were there for the Footie world cup final, as well as the Wimbledon final. We came to know the underground system quite intimately, as we used it to mission around each day to shops, sights, and pubs... oh the pubs.
Matt and I met up with Garry and Pedro on Sunday, who showed us around Camden as well as a number of pubs, including the World's End, which has hosted many awesome bands over the years. The cool thing about most of the pubs and buildings in England is that they are hundreds of years old.
I actually didn't end up taking many photos in London, mostly because the missions were so thick, and also because most people have already seen all the standard sights and landmarks. We did however do an obligatory bus tour just before we left. Between powernaps, I managed to take a few shots.
We seemed to spend alot of time hanging around Picadilly Circus, which made a pretty good meeting place. Oh and we also went to watch Chicago at the Cambridge theatre, which was really good.
After Chicago, Matt and I headed off to the White Horse pub, to meet up with Ped and Jono and the crew. Unfortunately we only got there at around 11pm, and the tubes stop at 12ish, so we didn't have much time. Although, sometimes the best pint is a quick pint.
