After finding and checking into the German Mission we headed out on foot to Tower Bridge, past HMS Belfast and back home via LOndon Bridge. The next morning we were visibly shaken when the matron, with a remarkable display of german efficiency, proceeded to remove all the food and tea/coffee from the canteen on the stroke of 8.30. Sally, who had been in mid stride at the time, with a cup in her outstretched hand - returned forlornly to her seat.
