So today will be forever remembered for our great water skiing efforts. Being easily 30 degrees, it was beginning to feel like Durban again, so Meg and i sent jon overboard to test the rather dingy canal waters. The canal is only just over a meter deep so it's not terribly dangerous, but as Rambo explained, you must steer clear of the propellor. Once, he got over the initial shock (see face below!), our version of canal skiing proved to be quite fun.

Strangely enough, it seems that the Pom's don't seem to enjoy a good water ski that often. But we soon got over the rather uncomfortable stares from on-lookers. After jon and matt, meg and i rolled overboard and perfected the technique. Athough the barge only goes at walking pase, do not be fooled... it's still pretty hard to hold on. Good times.
